My computer isn't responding to my monitor. My monitor reads "No Signal" orange light then turns off.?
I have an Acer desktop and its about 2 or 3 years old. I had it hooked up to a flat screen TV as my monitor. Just recently its not been giving a signal to my TV. The TV will eventually turn off because it has no signal. I then hooked it up to the original monitor it came with and the monitor didn’t pick up a signal either. It reads "No Signal" then an orange light turns on, and the monitor shuts off. If anyone as any idea what is going on or what I can do to fix this please let me know.

The port that you connect your monitor/TV to in your computer might be dead. You should test it with some more monitors/TVs, if it still doesn’t work, then try to call Acer at 0871-705-7856 for technical support. Or just go to PC Warehouse and have it serviced there.
flat screens can be either analogue, digital or both, assume you have an analogue monitor, you have it in the wrong port of your GPU(ifyou have a GPU?), and alter your BIOS settings? Or is you TV analogue? Check your cord from computer to tv or monitor. Got any pets?
mate try to remove RAM and reinsert it this occurs many times when u shift your cpu from one place to another place so its better to reinsert RAM and if it doesn’t work then its always better to go to Professional ones
