What kind of flat screen tv can freeze?

I’m getting my dad a big flat screen tv for his birthday for at our cabin and I don’t know what kind can freeze. Our cabin gets really cold in the winter so I don’t know if I should get a plasma tv or what?

Electronics in general don’t react well to adverse conditions. Although the cold temperatures may not affect the TV by themselves, a period of cold followed by warmer temperatures can lead to condensation forming on components inside the TV, and water isn’t a good thing to have in your TV.
I would advise you to pack up the TV and take it away from the cabin during cold winter months.
